Inside: 10 Merry Minute to Win It Christmas Games.

Every year around Christmas we host a group of our closet friends and their kids, we laugh, eat great food, and play the best holiday games. One of my favorite games to play with groups of people is any Minute to Win It style games.

They are so fun to play and make for a really great time. If you have never played minute to win it, basically each team choose 1-2 player to compete in a head to head 60-second challenge. The first team to complete that challenge gets a point. Once you reach the end of our games, whoever has the most points wins. So simple but full of fun.

This Christmas season we have created the best line up of Minute to Win It Christmas Games that every guest can enjoy.

Minute to Win It Christmas Games

Merry Minute to Win It Christmas Games

Marshmallow Munch: If you’re looking for a sweet treat of a game then this Marshmallow Munch is perfect. Eat an entire bowl of mini marshmallows and drink a cup of hot chocolate in a minute (or race to be the first).

Snowball Fight: First you will need a pack of ping-pong balls and a few bigger styrofoam “snow” balls. Place 4 styrofoam “snow” balls on a pedestal. Each team member will stand on opposite sides of the pedestal and bounce (preferred method) or throw Ping-Pong balls at the styrofoam ball attempting to knock it off the pedestal. Complete the task in 60 seconds to win.

Minute to Win It Christmas Games

Candy Cane Catch: Tie a piece of ribbon or twine from one post or chair to another. Players must stand on top of the chairs and try to be the first to drop a candy cane from the chair onto the ribbon and get it to stay there. Play until the first player gets a candy cane to catch on the ribbon or see who can get the most in a minute. This is one of the more difficult Christmas Minute to win it games for kids.

Holiday Games for Everyone

Reindeer Nose Dive: Place petroleum jelly on the nose of each participant. Tie the string to their collar with the red foam nose attached to the end of it. Using only the motion of their body and head, each player must attempt to swing the red foam nose onto their own nose. The first player to complete the task wins.

Elf Toss: Players have a minute to try and toss mini plastic elves into a line of buckets (one 5″ away, one 7″ away, and one 10 feet away). The Player has to make elves into each of the buckets in the time to win.

Holiday Party

Snowman Shake: Decorate white ping pong balls to look like snowman faces. Fill an empty tissue box with the snowmen ping pong balls and tape the tissue box to someone’s backside. Players have to shake all of the snowmen out of the tissue box before the time runs out. Or if you’d rather not decorate like snowmen, use ornaments instead.

Naughty or Nice – These Fun Minute to Win It Christmas Games are a Hit

North Pole Pop: Players have to pop 10 balloons using just their hands with winter gloves on before the time runs out.

Jingle Bell Jam: Before the party, fill five boxes with different amounts of jingle bells than wrap like holiday presents. Players have to shake wrapped presents filled with jingle bells to determine how many jingle bells are in each, putting them in order of the most jingle bells to the least.

Minute to Win It Christmas Games

Naughty or Nice: Set out bowls full of red and green candies, making sure to have the same amount in each one. Players must quickly go through a bowl of red and green candies and divide the candies (one candy at a time) into separate bowls across the room labeled naughty or nice. Red candies go into the naughty bowl and green candies go into the nice bowl. The first player to separate all of their candies wins.

Reinder Wrap: Players have to wrap a teammate from head to toe with brown crepe paper and top with reindeer headband to finish the challenge. If a player breaks the crepe paper, they can continue wrapping to cover them completely.
