Easy Minute to Win It Games

Face the Cookie: Place a cookie on someone’s forehead. They have to use only their face muscles (no hands) to get it into their mouth.

Keep It Up: Give each player three balloons. They have to keep all three balloons up in the air for a minute.

Choosing Cups: Set out like 25 cups, filling all of them partway with water. Put a sticker on the bottom of some of the cups. Players have to pick one cup at a time, trying to find a sticker.

Wrap It Up: A two-player game where one person has to wrap the other person in streamers, toilet paper, or something else

Bottle to Bottle: Fill one 2-liter bottle with something (Lucky Charms, Jelly Beans, etc.) then tape to another 2-liter bottle – players have to transfer all from one bottle to the other.

Stack Attack: This one might not be as tasty as cookie face, but it’s still pretty popular. Give the kids one single stack of 36 plastic cups. Each child gets one minute to stack all of the cups into a pyramid and then unstack them, making a single column again.

Chandelier: Light up the fun! You’ll need 15 empty soda cans and four paper plates. Kids have one minute to stack cans with paper plates in between to see how high they can go.

Penny Tower: How many pennies can your child stack in one minute? If they just guessed a million, they’re not exactly right. The trick to this game is that the child can only use one hand. And believe us, that makes it oh-so-challenging.

Quick Fun Games to Play

Noodling Around: Start this minute to win it game with one strand of uncooked spaghetti. The player puts the end of the dry noodle in their mouth. She then has 60 seconds to pick up six uncooked pieces of penne pasta—with the spaghetti. Oh, and without using her hands!

Cereal Scramble: Cut the front of a cereal box into equal pieces. Stack the pieces into a flat tower and set a timer for one minute. Each child has their own minute to piece the cereal box together.

Puddle Jumper: Set up a series of plastic cups. Fill them to the top with water and set a ping pong ball on the first in the row. The kids need to blow the ball from the first cup to the second. Keep going with more balls, racing to see who moves the most in one minute.

Easy Party Games

Peep Face Game: Got extra peeps? We love this twist on the cookie minute to win it that’s a fun game for kids at Easter. Sunflower Mom gives her little chicks one minute to stick as many peeps as they can to their face! Little bunnies think this game is funny.

Go Fish: Whether it’s crackers or mini marshmallows, this fun game for kids is easy to do. You’ll need straws and two plates. Little gamers have one minute (to win it!) to see how many fish they can transfer from one plate to another with the suction from the straw and no hands.

Keep it Up: As light as a feather! Little players keep two feathers in the air for one minute (or as long as they can). The catch is they can just use their breath. To make it easier for younger kids, they can use a straw.

Penny Hose: Take two of the pennies that you used for the Penny Tower game and place one at each end of a pair of pantyhose. In other words, put the pennies in the toes. The child puts one hand on each side and must get the pennies out in under one minute.

Super Fun Minute to Win It Games

Mad Dog: Attach two opened Tic Tac boxes to the ends of a ruler, resembling a dog bone, with the open ends up. The object of the game is to empty all of the mints from the boxes within, just by shaking your head with the ruler in their mouth.

Human Ring Toss: Gather up some hula hoops or round pool floats and let the game of ring toss begin! This is a partner or team game, with one player serving as the “post” that the rest on their team will try to throw the loops around. The person or team who gets the most rings around their partner wins!

Minute to Win It Party Games

Straw Race: Set up a start and finish line for your racecourse, then line up 5 marshmallows, cotton balls, pompoms, or similar objects for each player at the start. They must use a straw to blow their objects across the finish line. The first one finished or the one with the most over the line after a minute is up is the winner!

This is also a fun one to recreate with air, since games with balloons are always my kids favorites to play.

Scoop It Up: Using nothing but a spoon in your mouth, transfer six ping pong balls from one bowl to another) in less than one minute. No hands! Hands are only allowed if you drop the ping pong ball, and then they can be used to place the ball back into the original bowl for another transfer attempt. 2-3 players compete for each round of play.

Nut Stacker: Thread five hex nuts onto a wooden skewer. Using only one hand on the skewer, stack up all of the nuts in under one minute. Since this game requires the table to stay as still as possible, only two players compete per round.

Shake It: This game was another crowd favorite! To prepare for this game, empty a tissue box, and use a Xacto knife to make two slits into the bottom of the box. Thread an adjustable belt or wide ribbon through the two slits to create a tissue-box-on-a-belt.
