Minute to Win It Games for the Office
Dizzy Mummy: Our top choice for Minute to Win It games is Dizzy Mummy. The player attempts to wrap himself or herself from head to toe in toilet paper by spinning in circles. We love it because it’s so easy to set up, but it’s quite difficult to pull off in just 60 seconds. Plus, it’s hilarious for all other players to watch.
Slap Happy: Two players on a team have to transfer a crumpled up paper ball from one end of the room to the other by slapping the paper ball back and forth to each other. The catch is only using books to slap it to each other. The only real rule to this game is that they have to hit the paper ball back and forth to each other. One person cannot hit it twice in a row.
Book Hockey: Set up an obstacle course of cones, toys, or whatever you have around the office. The player must use a broom to get a book (or whatever object you choose if you don’t want to use a book) from one side of the obstacle course to a goal at the other side of the course.
Iron Man: Use a chopstick to stack iron nuts on top of each other
Shake It: Tape an empty Kleenex box to a pair of pantyhose, fill with ping pong balls, then tape around someone’s waist. They have to shake until all the balls fall out.
Minute to Win It Games
A Cup of Fun: Before the game, put a sticker on the bottom of a couple of plastic cups. Put those marked plastic cups in with a bunch of other plastic cups and turn them all over so the bottom is hidden. Fill cups about 1/4 full (depending on the size of the cups) with a drink that makes sense for your party then line them up in a square on a table.
To play, players have to choose a cup, drink what’s in the cup, and keep going until they find a sticker one. If you’re playing with multiple teams, you can either have them take turns choosing and drinking cups or you can have them race to see who can get to a marked cup first.
Face Cookie:If you’ve ever played minute to win it games before, you’ve probably played this one! Players must put an Oreo on their forehead and get it to their mouth using only their face muscles.
Noodle Pick Up: Place six uncooked pieces of penne pasta near the edge of a table. Give the player an uncooked spaghetti noodle to hold in his/her mouth and use to try and pick up the penne noodles. This is much harder than it sounds!
Rubberband Rip: Hang a full toilet paper roll on a rod so that it is suspended off of the ground. Attach an empty soda can to the bottom to the end of the roll to help weigh it down. Give the player some rubber bands and have him/her shoot the rubber bands at the toilet paper roll. The goal is to break the paper. This can be played individually or in teams.
Fun Games for Office Party
Save the Joker: Place a deck of cards (with the Joker on the bottom) on top of a glass container. When the minute starts, have the player gently blow the cards off of the bottle until he/she gets to the Joker. The player that blows all of the cards off of the bottle except for the Joker in under a minute wins!
Sticky Face: Grab those post-it pads and race the clock to see how many sticky notes you can get on your face! It is such a silly Minute to Win It game for the office!
Streamer Roll: Give the player two rolls of plastic streamers. Have the player unroll both rolls completely in under a minute using only his/her arms and hands.
Blindfold Bowling: You can play this with really anything you can think of for bowling pins – cones or water bottles. Bowl blindfolded as many times as needed until you knock all the pins down or until the minute is up. This is definitely one where you’ll want a team to help get the ball(s) back to whoever is bowling!
A Few More Fun Office Minute to Win It Games
That’s a Wrap: Give each player a set of oven gloves. Have them try to unwrap candy (such as Hershey Kisses or Starbursts) while wearing the gloves. The player with the most candy unwrapped after a minute wins!
Runny Nose: Give the player a full box of tissues. Using only one hand, have the player pull all of the tissues out of the box (one at a time!)
This Sucks: Place a small number of beans on a table and give each person a straw. Place a bowl on a table about ten feet away. Give the contestant one minute to suck a bean onto the straw and run it to the other bowl. Whoever can do the most in a minute wins!
Dice Stack:Give every person a popsicle stick to hold in his/her mouth. Have each person try to balance 6 playing dice on the popsicle stick stacked on top of each other and keep them there for a minimum of 5 seconds. You can also do this with 12 sugar cubes.
